Career

Fazel Atrachali entered the PKL after being shaped by the energetic streets of Iran and driven by his passion for kabaddi. He made his VIVO Pro Kabaddi debut for U Mumba against Dabang Delhi, which ended with a victory for his team. His career has gone nowhere but up since that game.

Fazel’s major breakthrough came when he joined the Patna Pirates. Here, he was able to reach his full potential, and he ended up winning the PKL's Best Defender award in the 4th season. 

His superb skills guided his next team, the Gujarat Giants, to the finals. Back with U Mumba again, Fazel showcased more impressive skills, proving to be one of the league's defensive backbone.

Fazel Atrachali has also had a long and successful career playing for the Iran national team. In both the World Cup and the Asian Games, he played a crucial role in the team's excellent showcase.  In the Pro Kabaddi League, Fazel is the highest-paid foreign player.

Awards and Achievements

Fazel Atrachali's career is filled with noteworthy achievements. His skills and dedication earned him the title of Best Defender twice in the PKL in 2016 and 2019. Fazel was the Champion of Pro Kabaddi in 2015 and 2016. He has been an Asian Games Silver medallist twice (2010 and 2014) and a Gold medallist champion in 2018.
