Amey Ranawade is an Indian professional footballer who
used to play as a defender for FC Goa in the Indian Super League, now Mumbai
City FC.
Amey Ranawade professional debut, came soon after as he
played in the Hero Super Cup 2018 semi-finals against East Bengal.
The Mumbai-born player started playing football while in
school and impressed at the youth levels, earning himself a place in the AIFF
Regional Academy in Goa.
Amey Ranawade represented India in U-17 and U-20 age
groups and secured a move to the now-defunct DSK Shivajians.
Amey Ranawade signed for Kolkata giants Mohun Bagan and
helped them win the Calcutta Football League. He also made four appearances for
the Mariners in Hero I-League 2018-19.
Amey Ranawade currently plays for Mumbai City in the
Indian Super League as a defender. Amey joined Mumbai City FC in 2020. He has
been re-signed by Mumbai City FC for the seasons 2021-2022.
Ranawade signed a four-year contract extension with the
club on June 17, 2021, which will keep him there until 2025.
