‘Chhipkali’ has a distinct plot that explores several life-related ideas, making it an esoteric movie. The movie challenges viewers' preconceptions by examining what happens when two radically different and stubborn perspectives collide. The movie also makes us question how little we know about the world. Although ‘Chhipkali’ is a respectable drama thriller, its scholarly tone might only appeal to a certain demographic of viewers.

This suspenseful story begins with the entrance of private investigator Rudraksh Roy at the residence of author Aloke Chaturvedi, who had previously been found not guilty in a case involving the alleged killings of his wife and kid. The detective is looking for the truth since they think there might be more to the case than first appears. The author frequently imagines the fictional characters from his books as his company because he lives alone in a large house. The conversation that follows between the two people is a contest of intelligence and cunning as they each try to outwit the other. It's preferable to keep the story's finale a secret so that the audience may appreciate the suspense of the journey.

The debutant Koushik Kar's direction of ‘Chhipkali’ is respectable, and it's obvious that the picture deals with a humane subject that might be well received by festival viewers. The premise may be somewhat complicated for a larger audience, but that doesn't mean it isn't entertaining. So, watch this one if you're in the mood for a brain-twisting thriller.
