Plot

Blind follows the journey of Gia Singh (Sonam Kapoor), a Glasglow police officer who lost her sight in an accident that also claimed the life of a person very close to her, leaving her with a lifelong sadness to manage. She is currently living with her dog, Elsa, carrying out her daily basic home tasks while attempting to put her life back together.

Everything changes when she enters a taxi being driven by a man who claims to be the driver (Purab Kohli) on a tragic night. Gia becomes suspicious when she believes the driver is keeping something in the trunk of his car. She reports the occurrence to the police, who then assign Prithvi (Vinay Pathak), Gia, and Shubham Saraf (Nikhil), another crucial witness. Following that, Gia and the serial kidnapper, killer, and sexual predator engage in a cat-and-mouse game.

Blind begins on a downbeat note and proceeds at a very slow speed while it establishes the concept of the story. And just when you think things will pick up, they leave you exactly where you are at that moment.

The main character, Sonam, comes from a very troubled background; she grew up without a parent and was responsible for the death of her younger brother in a terrible accident. However, despite all of these layers, she never truly wins your sympathy since none of them add anything of substance to her character.

The predictability of the movie is definitely one of its more significant flaws. The recounting of the story could have been more engaging. You won't be surprised by what happens in the climactic moment. Even the most dramatic part of the story did not contain any unexpected turns or twists.
