Nabeel Khan born on September 2,1999 in New Delhi, India is a Sarangi player, composer and a singer songwriter.

He is the eighth generation of Sarangi artists in his family and is the grandson of the legend of Sarangi Padma Bhushan awardee, Ustad Sabri Khan Saheb. Nabeel Khan belongs to the much-revered Moradabad Sainia Gharana of Sarangi players.

Alongside education soon he was initiated into the rare art of the instrument Sarangi.

Growing up in a family of great Sarangi players,he grasped the techniques of Sarangi very swiftly under the tutelage of his grandfather and soon emerged as a Sarangi prodigy.

After the demise of his grandfather, he continues to take his musical training under the aegis of his father Ustad Nasir Khan and uncle Ustad Kamal Sabri.

He has been playing Sarangi from the tender age of seven.

Nabeel gave his first stage performance in Little Theatre Group, New Delhi when he was just eight years old.

He gave his first international performance in Oslo Mela Festival of Norway, under the guidance of his teacher and uncle Ustad Kamal Sabri in 2015. Khan graduated from Zakir Husain Delhi College, University of Delhi in 2021 and also has a Sangeet Prabhakar degree in Sarangi from Prayag Sangeet Samiti.

Nabeel Khan has been giving Indian classical Sarangi recitals inter and intra continental since 2012.

The United Kingdom, Italy, Denmark, Norway, France, Netherlands, Russia, UAE, Theater of Digital Art (TODA) Dubai, Sri Lanka, Italy are some nations Nabeel Khan has performed in internationally.

Most recently, he performed in Leeds, London, Manchester, Liverpool, Leicester and in the UK Sarangi Legacy organized by South Asian Arts.

He has also performed for Louvre Museum, Salt camp, Abu Dhabi, Sikka Arts festival 2023 and in many cultural events in the UAE by giving first ever Indian classical performances.

In India he began his musical journey by giving Sarangi performances in many Spic Macay concerts.

As a Sarangi prodigy, Nabeel displayed his talent on national television via Rajya Sabha channel at the age of thirteen and on Lok Sabha TV, Naad Bhed.

Nabeel Khan continues to take the art of Sarangi and the beauty of Indian classical music across the globe by doing frequent Indian classical-Western fusion workshops and collaborates with musicians across the globe to further the beauty of Hindustani classical music.

‘Let’s Learn Sarangi’ is one such initiative through a series of basic videos Nabeel Khan aimed at imparting online Indian classical knowledge during the lockdown period.

Nabeel Khan recently stirred up the yet to settle craze that Pathaan created across the world to make the one minute viral track under the title 'When Pathaan meets Tiger'. This idea got global recognition as the mashup of Jhoome Jo Pathaan and MashaAllah on Sarangi along with Rabab is one of its kind.
