Early life 

Kranti Redkar was born on August 17th, 1982 into a Marathi family in Mumbai to Dinanath and Urmila Redkar. Kranti‘s father’s name is Dinanath Redkar, who’s an actor, director, producer, and write. She has two sisters, Hridaya Banerjee and Sanjana Wavhal. Redkar received her primary education at Cardinal Gracias High School in Bandra and later completed her graduation from Ramnarain Ruia College.

Kranti Redkar’s husband’s name is Sameer Wankhede. He is the Zonal Director of the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB). They got married in a private ceremony on 29 March, 2017. A year later, on 3 December 2018, she gave birth to twin girls, Ziya and Zyada, at Surya Hospital in Mumbai

Career

Kranti Redkar’s age was just 22 years old when she appeared on screen for the first time. Kranti Redkar made her Marathi film debut in the film titled Sun Asavi Ashi. Her other popular films are Gangaajal, Shikshanachya Aaicha Gho, Fakta Ladh Mhana, and Kaakan. Kranti Redkar also made her directorial debut with the film Kaakan (2015). She also contributed two songs to the film.

Kranti Redkar had no intention of entering the world of acting at first, but after receiving proposals for commercial plays, she began to consider it seriously. Sun Asaw' Ashi was her first Marathi film, but the song Kombdi Palali from Jatra: Hyalagaad Re Tyalagaad (2005) with Bharat Jadhav gave her her first taste of actual success.

Kranti Redkar has also appeared in two Hindi television shows, Chittod ki Rani and Simply Sapne. Kranti’s minor role in the Prakash Jha-directed film Gangajal received a lot of attention. Kranti Redkar is a brilliant dancer and has performed in various awards and stage shows she grabbed everyone's attention with her highly popular Marathi song Kombadi Palaali.
