Barkha Bisht Sengupta commonly known as Barkha Bisht is an Indian Television and Film Actress. 

Barkha Sengupta was born in Hisar, Haryana, on December 28, 1979. Dehradun, Uttarakhand, is her hometown. 

Barkha went to Kendriya Vidyalaya Fortwilliam in Kolkata for her education and graduated from Symbiosis College in Pune.

Her father retired from the army as a colonel. Arpana and Sapna are her two younger sisters. Karan Singh Grover, an actor, had an affair with Barkha. On March 2nd, 2008, she married actor, Indraneil Sengupta. Meera Sengupta, the couple's gorgeous daughter, was born to this pair.

Barkha Sengupta was a competitor on Nach Baliye 3 in 2007, a dancing reality show.

Barkha Bisht Sengupta works in Hindi TV serials and Bengali, Hindi movies. She made her first TV appearance in Kitni Mast Hai Zindagi as Udita. She made her big-screen debut with the Hindi Film Raajneeti and Bengali film debut with Dui Prithibi. 

Barkha Bisht Sengupta acted in Star Plus show Pyaar Ke Do Naam...Ek Radha Ek Shyaam. She also hosted a film-news-based programme called Popkorn on Zoom TV. She played the lead role of Anupama in Doli Saja Ke. She also played cameo roles on shows like Kasautii Zindagii Kay, Kyaa Hoga Nimmo Kaa and Kavyanjali. She participated in Saas vs Bahu. She played Hanuman's mother on Mahabali Hanuman and played the lead role of Prema Shalini on Shriman Shrimati Phir Se.

She will appear in the fifth installment of the 1920 film series titled 1920 - Horrors of the Heart. Barkha will be sharing the screen with the popular stars Avika Gor and Rahul Dev. The film will be released on June 23, 2023.

Barkha is also seen in the serial Chandragupta Maurya playing the role of Tarini.
