Avantika Mishra is an Indian actress and former model who predominantly appears in Telugu films. She is also making her debut in Tamil films. Avantika Mishra played the lead in Meeku Meere Maaku Meme alongside Tarun Shetty; the film was released on June 17, 2016.
Early Life
Avantika Mishra was born on May 30th, 1993 to Mukesh Mishra and Savitra Mishra. She has a sibling whose name is Agnivesh Mishra. A native of New Delhi, she studied at the Air Force Golden Jubilee Institute and K. V. Hebbal, Bangalore. Later, she travelled a lot for modelling assignments, which gave her the confidence to enter the film industry. After being in modelling for six months, she got a chance to meet director Neelakanta for the Telugu film Maaya.
Career
Avantika Mishra began her career as a model for Puma, Femina, and several other brands. Her first acting role was in Neelakanta's Maaya.
Avantika Mishra played the lead in Meeku Meere Maaku Meme alongside Tarun Shetty; the film was released on 17 June 2016. In Vijay Devarakonda's film Meeku Maathrame Cheptha, Avantika Mishra starred opposite Tharun Bhascker Dhaassyam and Vani Bhojan. Avantika Mishra will next be seen in D Block, a college-based drama directed by YouTuber Vijay Kumar Rajendran and starring Arulnithi (of Eruma Saani fame). She will also act alongside Teju Ashwini in Enna Solla Pogirai, a film directed by debutante Hariharan and produced by Trident Arts.
