Anupama Gowda, also known as Anupama, was born on March 20, 1970, in Bangalore, Karnataka. Her father was an Associate in the Kannada Cinema Industry, and her mother worked in the clothing industry.
Anupama's primary hobby is dancing. She rose to prominence after appearing in the reality show Halli Duniya in 2011, which increased her popularity and offered her the opportunity to establish herself as an actress in Kannada television serials.
Anupama rose to prominence as a result of her roles in series such as Akka Tangi, Akka, and Chi Sou Savithiri. Anupama portrayed the twin part in the show Akka (2015), which earned her a spot on the big screen. Her show Akka has a large fan following.
