Biography
Shanvi Srivastava is an Indian actress and model who works predominantly in Kannada films and a few Telugu and Malayalam films. She made her debut in Marathi film Raanti in 2023.
Early Life
Shanvi Srivastava was born on 8 December,1992, in Varanasi,Uttar Pradesh, India. She did her schooling at Children College Azamgarh, Uttar Pradesh and graduation at the Thakur College of Science and Commerce in Mumbai and completed her B.Com degree in 2016. Srivastava has one elder brother and one elder sister, actress Vidisha.
Career
Shanvi Srivastava started acting in 2012 with a movie called Lovely while she was still in school. In her next movie, Adda, she played a fashion designer student and many people liked her acting. After that, famous director Ram Gopal Varma chose her for a small part as Vishnu Manchu's love interest in the movie Rowdy.
In 2014, she acted in her first Kannada movie, Chandralekha, a mix of horror and comedy, and got good reviews. The next year, she won an award at the South Indian International Movie Awards and got nominated for a Filmfare Award for Best Actress - Kannada for her role in Masterpiece. She also earned a nomination for Filmfare Best Actress in Kannada and won the SIIMA Award for Best Female Actor in a Lead Role for Kannada for the movie Tarak.
2018 was a big year for Srivastava because she made her first appearance in an international Chinese drama series, The Dark Lord, even learning Chinese for the part. She was chosen for this over Sunny Leone.
In 2019, Srivastava had two releases - Avane Srimannarayana and Geetha which was her first Kannada voice dubbed film.
