Rashi Mal is an Indian actress, musician and dancer. She made her Hindi film debut with Helicopter Eela alongside Kajol and played a pivotal role in the film 'Sir', that won the GAN Foundation award at Cannes Film Festival. Rashi has most recently worked on Ayan Mukerji's magnum opus Brahmāstra alongside Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor.
She has trained in western classical music and recently released her debut single Misaal (Hindi) and Paradigm (English) that she wrote and sang. She sang for the film Dear Maya starring Manisha Koirala, wrote and sang for her own parody band Sachhi Savitris and is currently working on a new EP with Hoopr.
Rashi is a professionally trained dancer having been a company member at Ashley Lobo's 'The Danceworx' working as a teacher,choreographer and perforner. She has trained in Jazz, Ballet, Contemporary, Salsa, Bachata, Merengue, Hip hop, and Bollywood.
She has also started her own production company 'Wishing Wand Productions' to bring passion projects to life such as her podcast 'Woman Up' that talks about women empowerment and breaking stereotypes for both men and women.
