Biography
Preeti Jhangiani, an Indian model, actress, producer, and sports promoter, was born on August 18 in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. She entered the acting industry for the first time with the Malayalam film Mazhavillu (1999) and made her first appearance in Hindi with the romantic film Mohabbatein (2000), which earned her the IIFA Award for Star Debut of the Year – Female.
Following her debut in the song CD Yeh Hai Prem by Rajshri Productions in 1997, Jhangiani later pursued a career in other languages. Her notable contributions include her roles in the Telugu films Thammudu (1999) and Narasimha Naidu (2001), as well as her contributions to the Hindi films Awara Paagal Deewana (2002), LOC: Kargil (2003), and Aan: Men at Work (2004). She received the Best Actress award at the Rajasthan Film Festival for her depiction of a woman from a lower caste in Taawdo the Sunlight (2017).

Career
Jhangiani made her debut in the music album Yeh Hai Prem by Rajshri Productions, featuring Abbas as her counterpart. Both they and the Koala symbol included in the album gained fame as a result. Following that, she made appearances in Nima Sandal soap advertisements as well as several other advertisements.
Mazhavillu (1999) was her debut film in Malayalam, with Malayalam actor Kunchacko Boban. Then, she made appearances in two Telugu films, namely Thammudu (1999) in the role of Pawan Kalyan, and Narasimha Naidu (2001) in the role of Balakrishna. The release of Thammudu preceded that of Mazhavillu. In 2000, she made her first appearance in Bollywood with the film Mohabbatein. Subsequently, she directed the comedic picture Awara Paagal Deewana (2002). Additionally, she made appearances in Punjabi films, including Sajna ve Sajna and Bikkar Bai Sentimental (2013).
The most recent film she released was Taawdo the Sunlight (2017), produced by Rajjywood, a Rajasthani film. This film garnered her the prestigious Best Actress award at the Rajasthan International Film Festival (RIFF) and a special jury award for best actress at the Rajasthan Film Festival 2017. The film achieved significant commercial success. Additionally, she made a notable appearance in the film The Pushkar Lodge.
In 2013, she released the Bengali movie Mistake, directed by S.K Bangalore. The film explores social mistakes that impact students' careers. The story was well-written and the direction was exceptional. The release occurred on a global scale.
In 2012, Preeti declared her intention to return to the film profession following her marriage and motherhood.
