Introduction

The Test Case is a 2017 Indian web series that was created by Endemol Shine India for the ALTBalaji and directed by Vinay Waikul and Nagesh Kukunoor. Along with Juhi Chawla making a cameo appearance, it has Nimrat Kaur, Akshay Oberoi, Atul Kulkarni, Rahul Dev, and Anup Soni in the key parts. Captain Shikha Sharma (Nimrat Kaur), the main character, is the sole female among a squad of Indian Army officers undergoing special forces training.  She is the first female student of the school, making her a "test case" for the Indian army's plan to hire women for combat-related positions. Despite being brilliant and very motivated, the plot follows her path of overcoming obstacles at home and biases by her coworkers.

I have watched all of it, Indian and International, and this particular show beats all the women-oriented international shows. Sikha Sharma as a character shall be remembered in the history of the Indian Army. The character made me realize all women should have the audacity to confront their exceptions. Best cast, a perfect screenplay, a phenomenal storyline, and over a 5-star from my side. Must watch, guys. Go for it. You'll get goosebumps.”
