Plot 

The plot centres on what happens in Jehanabad , a small village in Bihar, where wholesome love and rural chaos are about to collide. The television programme, which takes place in 2005, is based on actual events. Abhimanyu Singh, a college lecturer, and Kasturi Mishra, one of his students, are falling in love while the Naxals plot the biggest jailbreak in country history to release Deepak Kumar, a seasoned Naxal commander. Love, sorrow, treachery, and eventually the human spirit's resiliency are all prominent themes in the narrative.

Character Analysis

• Parambrata Chatterjee one of the two main leads of the show, has barely any scenes until the climax. It’s a massive waste of his talent.

• Ritwick Bowmilk - has decently justified his character. Till about the 6th episode, you’re still wondering about which side his character leans towards. And only when the revelation is done, you are left flabbergasted as now everything he did before starts making sense. Ritwik Bhowmik manages to keep a very innocent outlook and keeps a poker face throughout. Therefore, not giving out much about his character, which in turn, makes his character even more interesting.

• The vivacious girl next door, Harshita Gaur, is the ideal small-town girl who aspires to escape the confines of her community and succeed in life. She is able to embody that spirit in both her appearance and body language, which makes the character come to life on her wonderfully.

• Rajat Kapoor stands out even in little roles. It's amazing how well he's picked up the dialect. Not to mention how effortlessly he transitions between the roles of a cunning politician and a loving father figure to Harshita Gaur.
