Gautam Gulati, an Indian actor best known for his comedic roles in Pyaar Kii Ye Ek Kahaani and Diya Aur Baati Hum, was born on November 27, 1987. He took part in and won the reality show Bigg Boss 8 in 2014. He is versatile yet multi-talented. Gautam Gulati is also a model and TV host for a list of many popular TV shows.

He acted as Devadutta in Siddhartha-The Buddha and starred in Rakesh Mehta's short Darpok, which was shown at the 67th Cannes Film Festival. In the biography Azhar directed by Mohammad Azharuddin, he portrayed Indian cricketer Ravi Shastri. Rahul was the character in his most recent project, Behen Hogi Teri. Later that year, he starred as Tejj in the Star Plus drama Tujh Sang Preet Lagai Sajna. He was cast as the gay character Shaurya Khanna in Star One's Pyaar Kii Ye Ek Kahaani in 2010.

He starred as Vikram Rathi in Star Plus' longest-running show, Diya Aur Baati Hum, from 2011 until 2014. In September 2014, he appeared as a celebrity participant on the eighth season of the reality show Bigg Boss. He endured 19 weeks before being declared the winner. Gautam hosted the MTV Big F show in 2015. He later made his Bollywood debut with the film Azhar, which was released in April 2016.
