Falaq Naaz is a proficient and renowned Indian television actress known for her work in several Hindi-language television serials. Lauded for her notable performances, especially in the long-running soap opera Sasural Simar Ka, she faithfully brought to life the character of Jhanvi Bhardwaj.

Naaz's career in the Indian television industry kickstarted more than a decade ago when she began gaining recognition in 2010. She has continually expanded her portfolio with stellar roles, including Goddess Lakshmi/Sita in the revered mythology drama TV series Devon Ke Dev…Mahadev between 2011 and 2012.

Apart from her compelling performances on TV screens, she has also made a cameo appearance in the widely popular family comedy-drama sitcom, Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah.

Career

Falaq underwent dancing training from famed Bollywood choreographer Saroj Khan in 2010, before making her acting debut in the longest-running comedy series Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah. She went on to play Lakshmi and Sita in the TV series Devon Ke Dev...Mahadev, which she starred in from 2011 to 2012. She rose to popularity as Jhanvi Bharadwaj in Colours TV's Sasural Simar Ka from 2013 to 2017.

 From 2014 to 2015, Naaz played Ruqaiya Sultan Begum in Bharat Ka Veer Putra - Maharana Pratap alongside Sasural Simar Ka. She landed the mythical drama Mahakali on the same channel after her stay in Sasural Simar Ka ended. Along with her part in Mahakali, she appears as one of the leads in Shankar Jaikishan 3 as a doctor, Twinkle Kapoor. In June 2018, she debuted as Minal, a class teacher, on Colours TV's Roop - Mard Ka Naya Swaroop. Four months later, she appeared as Devki in a cameo in Star Bharat's new endeavor RadhaKrishn. She was cast as Chhabili in Adaa Khan's Vish Ya Amrit: Sitara on Colours TV in November 2018. It did not perform well in the ratings and was canceled in June 2019. Her next role was as Mandodari in the channel's mythological serial Ram Siya Ke Luv Kush, which aired until February 2020.
