Ashish Sharma is an Indian film and television actor and the founder of Rachayita Films. He is known for his roles as Prithvi Vallabh in Prithvi Vallabh - Itihaas Bhi, Rahasya Bhi, Rama in Siya Ke Ram, and Major Rudra in Siya Ke Ram. Pratap Ranawat in Rangrasiya, Ranveer Singh/Fateh Singh Rathore/Jeet Singh in Rab Se Sohna Isshq, and Chandragupta Maurya in Chandragupta Maurya.

Ashish Sharma made his film debut in 2010 with the Hindi film Love Sex Aur Dhokha. The same year, he made his television debut as the male lead in Imagine TV's Gunahon Ka Devta. In the historical drama series Chandragupta Maurya, he portrayed Chandragupta Maurya. He also appeared in Zee TV's Rab Se Sohna Isshq as Ranveer. His role Major Rudra Pratap Ranawat, a BSD (border security) officer on Colours TV's RangRasiya, became a household name in 2014, garnering both critical and popular acclaim. In 2014, he won Season 7 of the dancing reality show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa with choreographer Shampa Sonthalia.He also hosted the radio programme Tujhse Naaraaz Nahin Zindagi.

 In 2018, he appeared on Sony TV's Prithvi Vallabh - Itihaas Bhi, Rahasya Bhi. In 2018, Sharma and wife Archana Taide produced feature film Khejdi, a film about a transgender character performed by Sharma himself. The film has appeared at numerous international film festivals and has won numerous accolades, including the Award for Best Actor at the 2019 NYC South Asian Film Festival. Sharma portrayed India's Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, in Umesh Shukla's directorial web series, Modi - A Journey of a Common Man, in 2019. Season 1 of the series premiered on Eros Now in 2019, with Season 2 following in 2020. His film Hindutva, written and directed by Karan Razdan, was released in 2022. He is currently producing and starring in an unannounced web series alongside Gulshan Grover and Sonarika Bhadoria.

Chandragupta Maurya is a Dangal TV Indian historical drama series based on the life of Chandragupta Maurya, the founder of the Mauryan Empire and an Indian monarch of ancient India. Chandragupta Maurya premiered on Imagine TV in March 2011. Ashish Sharma portrayed adult Chandragupta Maurya, former Prince of Piplivan, first emperor of the Maurya Empire. The plot revolves around Chandragupta Maurya, the ruler of the Indian subcontinent in 300 BC. He would go on to become one of ancient India's greatest monarchs, with an empire that stretched from Assam in the east to Afghanistan and Balochistan in the west.

Rangrasiya

Rangrasiya is a Colours TV television drama series that ran from December 30, 2013 to September 19, 2014. Major Rudra Pratap Ranawat and Parvati were played by Ashish Sharma and Sanaya Irani, respectively. Ashish Sharma is portrayed as Deputy Commandant Rudra Pratap Ranawat: Idealistic Border Security Force Officer; Mala and Dilsher's son; Samrat, Sumer and Sunehri's cousin brother; Parvati's husband; Dhruv's father.

Siya Ke Ram

Siya Ke Ram is an Indian television series on Star Plus produced by Nikhil Sinha under the Triangle Film Company banner. This play tells the legendary Ramayana story of Rama and Devi Sita from Sita's point of view. Madirakshi Mundle and Ashish Sharma star as Goddess Sita and Lord Rama, respectively, with Karthik Jayaram as Raavan. It debuted on November 16, 2015, and concluded on November 4, 2016. The main plot is based on the Hindu epic Ramayana, penned by Sage Valmiki and Adbhuta Ramayan, and tells the story from Sita's point of view.

Rab Se Sohna Isshq

Rab Se Sohna Isshq was an Indian soap opera produced by Jay Mehta's Jay Production that aired Monday through Friday on Zee TV. Along with Kanan Malhotra, Ashish Sharma portrayed the male lead. As the female protagonist, Ekta Kaul made her debut. The plot centres around a love triangle involving the three actors' characters, with much of the action taking place in London. This was Indian television's first cross-continental show. Ashish Sharma portrayed as Ranveer singh- Husband of Sahiba,Father of Jeet,and Rounak.

His most recent film role was in the 2022 movie "Hindutva," where he portrayed Bharat Shastri. Additionally, Rajeev Khandelwal has also made appearances in web series. In 2019, he played the role of Narendra Modi in the series "Modi: Journey of a Common Man," which was followed by a second season in 2020.
