Mandar Chandwadkar stepped into the acting world in 2005 with his first role as a doctor in the Marathi television show Don Fool Ek Doubtful.

In 2014, Mandar made a special appearance in the popular investigative series CID. He continued to bring his famous character, Aatmaram Tukaram Bhide, to life in this different setting.

In addition to his television performances, Mandar has also made his mark on the silver screen. He has acted in different Marathi films like Mission Champion in 2007 and Doghat Tisra Aata Sagala Visara in 2008.
