Loy Mendonsa was born on the 25th of August,1984, in Mumbai, Maharashtra. As of 2023, she is 39 years old. Her zodiac sign is Virgo. Even though Shah was born and raised in Mumbai, she comes from a Gujarati family.

Education

Loy worked as a music teacher at Mount St Mary's School in New Delhi early in his career. Loy eventually moved to Mumbai, where he spent many years writing jingles and corporate anthems. 

Career

He has also written numerous popular TV title tunes, including "Fauji," "The World This Week," and "Quiz Time," to mention a few. In 1996, Loy teamed with his buddies Ehsaan Noorani and Shankar Mahadevan. Shankar Ehsaan Loy was established. 

Together the trio has composed music for several films -  Dus, Dil Chahta Hai, Kal Ho Na Ho, Rock On, Bunty aur Bubli, Jhoom Barabar Jhoom, Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna, My Name is Khan, Taare Zameen Par, Bhag Milkha Bhag, 2 States, Mirzya, Dil Dhadakne Do, Soorma, Raazi, Chappaak, and the significantly popular Amazon web series 'Bandish Bandits'.

Throughout their career, they have had over 75 number-one hits.
They went on to win the National Award for Excellence in Music for the soundtrack of Kal Ho Na Ho, as well as other awards for Dil Chahta Hai, Kal Ho Na Ho, Bunty Aur Babli, My Name is Khan, Bhag Milkha Bhag, Mirzya, Rock On, and Taare Zameen Par.

Amongst their body of work, Shankar Ehsaan Loy has also composed the song for the Commonwealth Games closing ceremony, the ICC Cricket World Cup sing in 2011, and performances at both ceremonies. They have also composed several TV serial title tracks, including Kya Hum Paachvi Pass Se Tez Hai?, Rang Badalti Odhni, and Aarambh Loy is currently working on several soundtracks for their upcoming films, including Yudhra, Sam Bahadur, a project for Netflix, a project for Rajshri Films, and a few other confidential projects in the works.
