The Indian actor Darshan Jariwala, born on September 29, 1958, works diligently in the fields of Hindi films, television, and theatrical performances. The actor was awarded the National Film Award for Best Supporting Actor in the film "My Father". He gained popularity for his portrayal of Chedilal Chaturvedi in the television series Saas Bina Sasural, which was broadcasted on Sony Entertainment Television in India from October 18, 2010, to September 6, 2010. He is presently featured on Sony Set's television series Sargam Ki Sadhe Satii, which serves as the successor to his highly acclaimed programme Saas Bina Sasural. In this series, he assumes the role of Chedilal Awasthi, the female protagonist Anjali Tatrari's father-in-law. His portrayal of this character has received considerable praise and recognition for his acting abilities.

Jariwala is the son of acclaimed Gujarati artists Leela Jariwala and Vidyasagar Jariwala. He has performed in both cinema and Indian television. One of the Gujarati TV serials that stands out in his memory is Narsinh Mehta, which revolves around the saint poet and devotee of Krishna. The international recognition of Mahatma Gandhi was facilitated by his portrayal in the 2007 film Gandhi, My Father.
His collection of Gujarati plays includes Hatheli Par BaadBaaki, Patro Mitro, Mulraj Mansion, and Andhalo Pato. He acted in the Hindi drama Uncle Samjha Karo and gained experience in the English theatre production Going Solo 2. He entered the modern mainstream Gujarati film industry with the film Bey Yaar, directed by Abhishek Jain and released in 2014.
Leela Theatres, the company owned by the individual in question, has collaborated in the production of an English play titled "Salt & Pepper." This play features a cast including the Darshan Jariwala, Mandira Bedi, Kuki Grewal, and Vikram Kochar. The play was written and directed by Vikranth Pawar.
