Chirag Katrecha's career in the entertainment industry began in 2019 when he made his acting debut in the Hindi film URI: The Surgical Strike in a supporting role. The same year, he showcased his talent in the John Abraham and Mrunal Thakur starrer Bollywood film Batla House. He played the role of Zia in the film.

In 2019, Chirag made his digital debut in the acclaimed Netflix web series Sacred Games, where he portrayed the younger version of the character Sartaj. In 2020, he made a guest appearance as Debashish in the web series Pawan & Pooja. In 2022, he played the role of Sam in the second season of the Amazon mini-TV web series Crushed.

Chirag has also starred in various short films, including O Hero and Off The Record. He also worked as an assistant director in the Gujarati short film Bhavai, which received awards at the India Film Project.
