Anupriya attended Gyan Bharati School in New Delhi. She later attended Shaheed Bhagat Singh College and earned a B.Com. in New Delhi.

Pushpa, Anupriya's mother, is a homemaker. Her father's name is Ravindra Kumar Goenka, and he is a Garment Entrepreneur. Anupriya has two sisters and a brother.

Early Life

Anupriya Goenka helped support her family financially before she finished school. In an interview, she said, "I was the enterprising one and started helping my father in the garment export business. Acting was always a hobby till I realised I couldn't do justice to both theatre and my corporate career."

Career

In 2009, Anupriya Goenka moved to Mumbai. She was interested in theatre and tried to work both as an actor and in the business world. She started doing commercials and became famous in 2013 for being part of the UPA government's Bharat Nirman ad campaign. Anupriya also appeared in the 2013 short film Worth the Kiss. 

Later, Anupriya Goenka made her acting debut in the Telugu film Potugadu in 2013. Bobby Jasoos marked Anupriya Goenka's Bollywood debut. She also starred in Bollywood films like Paathshala (2014), Dishoom (2016), and Daddy (2017). Anupriya is well-known for playing Nurse Poorna in the 2017 film Tiger Zinda Hai. In the 2018 epic movie Padmaavat, she won praise from critics for her performance as Queen Nagmati.

Anupriya Goenka also appeared in the critically acclaimed Bollywood film War. In addition to Anupriya, this film featured Hrithik Roshan, Tiger Shroff, Vaani Kapoor, Yash Raaj Singh, Dipannita Sharma, and Mohit Chauhan.

With Stories by Rabindranath Tagore, Anupriya made her web series debut. She later starred in popular shows like Sacred Games, Abhay, Criminal Justice, Asur: Welcome to Your Dark Side, Aashram, and Criminal Justice: Behind Closed Doors.

In 2015, she played India's first-ever lesbian character in an ad for the brand Myntra. Additionally, she worked with companies like Coca-Cola, Garnier, Stayfree, Pepperfry, Kotak Mahindra Bank, and Vodafone.
