Introduction 

ImMature is a 2019 online series by The Viral Fever that is a coming-of-age romantic comedy in the Hindi language. The programme has a one-conflict-per-episode structure that connects to the main character Dhruv's overarching goal: to become friends with his love interest Chhavi.

It had its world premiere in April 2018 at the first Canneseries International Film Festival before becoming an original series on the Indian streaming service MX Player on February 20, 2019. Immature is a romantic comedy film about a young man named Dhruv who is struggling to come to terms with adulthood. He falls in love with a confident, independent girl named Tara, but soon realizes that winning her heart won't be easy as she has no interest in dating someone who isn't ready to grow up. 

Through his attempts to prove himself to her, Dhruv learns about love, life, and the importance of being true to oneself. Ultimately, he realises that maturity is about embracing one's imperfections and the two embark on a journey of love and growth together.

Release Date

ImMature was the first online series from The Viral Fever to have its world premiere at the Canneseries, an international series festival held in Cannes on April 11, 2018. After a while, Sameer Saxena, the TVF's creative producer, revealed that MX Player had acquired the film's digital distribution rights. 

The series' trailer debuted on February 14, 2019. The first two episodes were made available on MX Player on February 18, 2019, one day before the other episodes were supposed to be released on February 20. The producers announced their decision to renew for a second season in April 2019.
