Dharavi Bank is an Indian criminal drama series created by director Samit Kakkad and actors Suniel Shetty, Vivek Oberoi, Sonali Kulkarni, and Samikssha Batnagar. The series marks the OTT debut of Suniel Shetty. 

The series follows Thalaivan's (Sunil Shetty) ascent to become the most influential person in Dharavi and the Godman of numerous politicians. Chief Minister Janvi Surve (Sonali Kulkarni) contacts JCP Jayant Gavaskar (Vivek Oberoi) and orders him to kill Thalaivan for political gain. Gavaskar accepts the mission for both personal and professional reasons.

"Thalaivan," portrayed by Sunil Shetty, evolves into the influential kingpin of Dharavi and the puppet master of numerous politicians in the series. Janvi Surve, the Chief Minister played by Sonali Kulkarni, orders JCP Jayant Gavaskar (Vivek Oberoi) to eliminate Thalaivan for her political advantage. For Gavaskar, this assignment merges both professional obligation and personal vendetta, as it provides an avenue for him to avenge his child's death at the hands of Thalaivan. The ensuing clash between Gavaskar's Mumbai police force and Thalaivan's gang sets the series into a thrilling conflict, fraught with political maneuvers that continually aid Thalaivan's evasion.

The series garnered praise for its compelling storyline, immersive performances, and intriguing portrayal of the complex relationships within the Dharavi underworld. Conversely, it also faced criticism from certain quarters who expressed dissatisfaction with some aspects of the narrative or character development. IMDb has given the series a 7.7 out of 10 rating.  Saibal Chatterjee for NDTV gave Dharavi Bank two out of five stars and stated, "Dharavi Bank sorely lacks the sort of narrative reserves that can fuel a compelling thriller." "Dharavi Bank will appeal to some, the ones who like old-fashioned gangster dramas with over-the-top action," commented Abhimanyu Mathur for the Hindustan Times. But the programme lacks a vintage feel and is too dated. Suniel Shetty outshines everyone in his OTT debut as the vicious and effervescent gang leader of Dharavi, according to Archika Khurana for The Times of India, who awarded the film a 3/5 rating. Anna demonstrates that she is the ideal choice for the character of Thalavian, from his serious demeanour to his fierce loyalty to his family and his donning of the clean white Mundu. In his review for Firstpost, Manik Sharma stated that "the plotline, as a whole, moves with the steady but ultimately predictable pace of a Gangster vs. Police war where betrayals, rats, and spies abound." Shipra Darmwal from LeisureByte agreed, saying the series "does not offer anything new" and that the "twists are predictable."

In 2018, Kenny's portrayal as the hired mercenary Malcolm Murad in the Netflix series Sacred Games brought him back to prominence.

Jayant Gavaskar is a top cop running after Thalaivan’s billion-dollar empire not only because it’s his duty but also because of personal grudges against the criminal. He gets help from the Chief Minister of Maharashtra, who wants to end Thalaivan’s game ahead of Maharashtra’s elections.
