Campus Diaries is a coming-of-age story about six Excel University students. But this one is definitely not your typical college drama because it tackles important but rarely discussed issues like ragging, discrimination based on societal biases, one-sided love stories, widespread drug abuse, and toxic relationships that shape your personality and prepare you for the real world. These issues go beyond the typical frolic and friendship plots that classic youth dramas portray.
The series explores into many collegiate circumstances, ranging from rave parties to teenage love. Everyone has a backstory, which is fully explored. The drama has a lot to explore, from Salonie's breakdown to Harsh's helplessness, and the actors do a great job.
Campus Diaries was released on the 7th of January, 2022. It was aired on MX Player.
The show begins with harsh language, foreshadowing what is to come. It is safe to say that it is Harsh's comfort zone. Ritvik's Abhilash is endearing from the start. Salonie's Sushmita is both cute and aggressive, which is a lethal combination.
The show encourages ragging. Harsh's behaviour sets a poor example. Ritvik just adds to the saying that when a large number of individuals ragging, it establishes a standard. It's difficult to tell if the creators were thinking clearly while creating Campus Diaries. Following the pattern of reels, you hear songs in romantic moments out of nowhere, creating an unreal atmosphere.
Manoj Joshi, the dean of the engineering college, is quickly blended in with the show's colour. His Zoya Akhtar references are unexpected and entertaining at the same time. Harsh's admirers will undoubtedly enjoy his character in the series. He is his regular self and has even improved.
Abhinav Sharma, who plays Raghav Gupta, provides a new perspective to the story from the start. His friendly demeanour elevates Campus Diaries to new heights. However, his character graph decreases as the programme progresses. As a result, watching him on-screen requires a lot of patience.
Srishti Ganguly Rindani as Sanya, the college geek, is endearing but yet aggravating at times. She preaches to her pals, but the show's vitality suffers as a result of her odd nature.
Saloni Gaur's Priyanka appears much later in the series but scarcely makes an impression. While she is portrayed as a powerful woman, you are never entranced or intimidated by her at any point in the story. Unfortunately, this is akin to keeping her in the shadows and allowing her to remain there. Salonie and Ritvik's scenario is well-executed. Through the difficult scenario, they demonstrate genuine friendship and affection.

Harsh Beniwal plays Sudheer, the classic political enthusiast who isn't particularly bright academically but is blessed with people skills and organisational abilities.
Ritvik Sahore as Abhilash nailed the show again with his powerpack performance. In the web series, he was humble, kind and helpful. But whenever he finds that his friends are in trouble, he tries to take them out of the situation. He can do anything when it comes to friendship. A whole new side can be seen by his character who is emotional but strong enough too.
Sanya is a frontbencher nerd, a kind and beautiful character. She is purely in love with Abhinav but afraid to express it. The confusion, jealousy and grumpy character make her unique.
The cast of Campus Diaries was carefully chosen to bring the characters to life. Auditions were held to find the perfect actors for each role, and the form went through extensive rehearsals to develop their characters and chemistry.
