Introduction 

An Indian television romance comedy drama series called Sherdil Shergill, sometimes known as Lionheart Shergill, aired on Colors TV from 26 September 2022 until 10 February 2023. It is accessible digitally through Voot. Starring Dheeraj Dhoopar and Surbhi Chandna, it is produced by Saurabh Tewari under the banner of Parin Multimedia.

Details

Story

In spite of challenges from her family and society in the past, Manmeet Shergill, a 30-year-old woman who has achieved success in the traditionally male-dominated industry of architecture, is featured in the opening of the narrative. She gave birth to her son, Anmol Shergill, via IVF, and is his sole carer. She gets invited to her younger sister Gunjan's wedding ceremony despite living apart from her family. However, her father requests that she can only go if she doesn't bring Anmol.

Rajkumar Yadav, a trainee Manmeet has unwillingly assigned to her office, is always jovial and entertaining. Raj is shortly revealed by Manmeet to be a stand-up comedian. Knowing his truth, Manmeet asks him to become her (false) husband only during Gunjan's wedding so they can avoid social and familial pressures. Raj accedes to Manmeet's request out of helplessness and a desperate attempt to avoid his named lover Nikki.

Raj can reconcile Manmeet with her estranged father in Shimla, where they had been at enmity for years. The arrival of Raj's parents, Bhairav and Nirali Yadav, during the wedding ceremony, however, causes stress. They ask similar confused questions as Manmeet apologizes and explains that it is all a farce.

Raj is subject to blackmail by Nikki, who is enraged with him. To persuade Nikki this time, Raj asks Manmeet to pose as his wife. Raj and Manmeet are able to confess their love to Nikki. However, Nikki stirs up trouble and again informs the Yadavs, who then summon the Shergill family to Mumbai to ascertain the truth.
