Plot

The story of the Wadhwa family and Kumkum, their daughter-in-law, is told via the medium of a soap opera. She is really content with her marriage to Jatin. Sadly, he succumbs to a brain tumour and passes away during her pregnancy with their first child.

The Wadhwas have made the decision to remarry their young daughter-in-law, and they have identified Vishal as the most suitable young guy. On the other hand, when complications emerge leading up to the wedding and it is called off on the very last day,

Jatin's younger brother Sumeet hastily marries Kumkum in order to save her from the dishonour that would be brought upon her by society. Sumeet is tormented by guilt because she married Kumkum against her choice; yet, she finally falls in love with him as she is attempting to expose Renuka, who was Sumeet's ex-girlfriend.

 A budding passion between Sumeet and Kumkum leads them to recognise that they are soulmates, which leads to the climax of the story. Kumkum, who is the perfect daughter-in-law of the Wadhwa family, defends Sumeet's family despite the challenging conditions they are facing. Manik, who is actually an impostor wearing Jatin's face, causes chaos in their lives; nevertheless, Kumkum reveals his false identity and is able to reconcile with Sumeet. Sharman and Aashka are Sumeet and Kumkum's offspring, and Kumkum is the one who gives birth to them.
