Kasam was an Indian television soap opera that aired from 2016 to 2018 on the Colors TV channel. The story begins with the introduction of Rishi, who is a young businessman from a wealthy family. He returns to India from abroad and meets Tanu, a simple and innocent girl from a small town in Punjab. Rishi falls in love with Tanu at first sight and decides to pursue her. However, Tanu is already engaged to Pawan, a boy chosen by her family. Rishi is heartbroken but refuses to give up on his love. He discovers that Tanu is the reincarnation of his childhood love, Tanuja, and believes that they are destined to be together.
Rishi and Tanu's love story faces numerous obstacles, including the disapproval of their families and the interference of Pawan's family. Eventually, Rishi and Tanu get married and start a new life together. However, their happiness is short-lived when Tanu dies in a car accident. The story takes a dramatic turn when Tanu is reincarnated as Tanuja (played by Kratika Sengar), who looks exactly like her previous incarnation. Rishi and Tanuja meet again and their love story continues. However, they must once again overcome obstacles, including Tanuja's past and the manipulations of their enemies. The series follows the ups and downs of Rishi and Tanuja's love story and their journey to overcome challenges and stay together.

Manpreet Singh Bedi played by Zuber K. Khan: Manpreet is Rishi's younger brother and is a fun-loving and carefree person. He is always ready to help Rishi and Tanu and provides comic relief to the show.
