Surili Ahuja Banerjee is a stunning, down-to-earth, cheerful, carefree, and contemporary girl from Colaba in Mumbai. Since her parents passed away, she has owned and operated the Gramophone cafe. Ranakgadh's oldest prince is Shivendra Barot. He is committed to the traditions that his mother, Damayanti Barot, called the queen, demands all of her sons to uphold and is mature, devoted, and responsible.

Character Analysis

• Damayanti Barot - is the head of the royal Barot family. She is shown as the strict and rule following mother who has wishes for her son Shivendra Singh Barot to take up the family business empire. 

• Surili Ahuja Banerjee - Played by Tina Datta, is a free-spirited, outgoing, and contemporary girl from Colaba. She owns the Gramophone cafe and is the daughter of Surjot and Lalit. She is portrayed as a free spirited girl who loves to life to the fullest. She is the direct opposite of what Damayanti Barot expects.

• Shivendra Shiv - is played by Jay Bhanushali. Barot is a responsible businessman who runs Barot Industries. He is also the prince of Ranakgadh, the son of Damayanti, and Surili's love interest.

• Karanvir Bohra - Plays the role of Shivendra's younger brother as Samar Ahluwalia Barot. He plays the role of Shiv's step brother and is the anti hero in the show.

Seasons

There is currently only one season of the show with 25 episodes in it. The show revolves around the royal family of Barot. The main characters include Damayanti Barot, Shivendra Barot and Surili Ahuja Banerjee are all people with different personalities. Damayanti Barot is the head of the royal family and expects her orders to be followed without question,

Shivendra Barot is the obedient son and is expected to take over the business empire. Suri Ahuja Banerjee on the other hand is a free spirited modern thinking girl who lives life to the fullest. The show portrays the different paths of life each of the characters come from and the way they deal with life as it comes their way. The show is brimming with romance and drama.
