Plot

"Ek Deewaana Tha" is a supernatural romance thriller that follows the stories of Shiv, Sharanya, and Vyom. Reincarnation and how the past affects the present are two themes that are explored in the show.In the present, Sharanya, who is engaged to Vyom, sees Shiv after he rises from the dead. Shiv's presence causes a series of events that lead to the unraveling of the past. It is revealed that Shiv and Sharanya were lovers in their prior life, but their love tale was cut short due to a sad tragedy. Sharanya learns the truth about her prior life as the plot develops and comes to the conclusion that her connection to Shiv is not merely a coincidence. In the meantime, Vyom develops a fierce possessiveness for Sharanya and will stop at nothing to keep her by his side.

As the past and present start to converge, the show goes through a number of twists and turns that culminate in a dramatic and touching ending.
