Plot 

Barrister Babu is a television drama series set in the pre-independence era of India. The show revolves around the life of a young girl named Bondita, who is married off at a tender age to a much older man, Anirudh, in order to fulfill her family's wishes. Throughout the show, Anirudh and Bondita's bond grows stronger, and they fight against the injustices and social issues prevalent in their community. Release

The first season premiered on Colors TV on 11 February 2020 and ended on 12 November 2021. Shashi Sumeet Productions handled the production. Pravisht Mishra, Anchal Sahu, and Aurra Bhatnagar Badoni starred in it. Durga Aur Charu, the second season, premiered on Colors TV on December 12, 2022, and is available digitally on Voot.The first promotional teaser for the show, starring Pravisht Mishra and Aurra Bhatnagar Badoni, was released on January 13, 2020. Colors TV released a teaser on June 22, 2021, to introduce the new actress, Anchal Sahu as grown-up Bondita, and the eight-year gap following Anirudh and Bondita's separation. Pravisht Mishra was announced and confirmed to play the dual roles of Anirudh Roy Choudhary and Batuk Roy Choudhary on October 8, 2021.

Charu is the younger daughter of Bondita and Anirudh; Bankey and Bholi's adoptive daughter; and Durga's twin sister. Charu is given the opportunity to be released two years before her sentence. Only she had to fight and win a case. The officer compliments Charu on her kind and honest behaviour and warns her to fight the case aggressively for bail.

Predictions

Charu arrives at the marriage mandap, but no one can see her face because of the veil. Chumki says she will remove Durga's veil in order to perform the Shubho Drishti ritual. Dadi claims she has no objections to Durga's veil. Anirban, according to Chumki, can see Durga's face. She makes a move to remove Durga's veil. Meanwhile, Sampurna is looking for Durga.

According to Raj Shri, they can perform the Shubho Drishti ritual without removing Durga's veil. Durga and Anirban can also see each other's faces in the water. She reveals that this water was sent by Sampurna. Anirban and Charu carry out the Shubho Drishti ritual. In his mind, he recalls Charu's name.

They were happily driving along when a truck came along and they were involved in an accident, bringing the story of two caring Barristers to an end.

Behind the scenes

The show's production and airing have been halted indefinitely since March 19, 2020, due to the COVID-19 pandemic in India. Filming was supposed to resume on April 1, 2020, but it was cancelled, and the series was last broadcast on March 31, 2020, when the remaining episodes aired. The episodes will resume on July 6, 2020. The show was cancelled on November 12, 2021, and was replaced by Balika Vadhu 2 on November 15, 2021. The show Sherdil Shergill was moved to the next time slot as a result of the production's new season, Durga Aur Charu, which premiered on December 12, 2022.
