Jawan - 2023
Jawan is (meaning Soldier), a much-anticipated Indian action thriller marking the Hindi directorial debut of Atlee. This high-octane film is produced by Gauri Khan and Gaurav Verma under their banner, Red Chillies Entertainment.
Boasting a star-studded cast, Jawan sees Shah Rukh Khan in dual roles, adding to the intrigue and drama. He is joined by the talented Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi, Priyamani, and Sanya Malhotra, while Deepika Padukone makes a noteworthy special appearance.
In September 2021, the wheels for Jawan were set in motion. The film's shooting spanned across breathtaking locations from Pune to Rajasthan and Mumbai to Aurangabad, capturing diverse cultural backdrops. The film's music is crafted by the renowned Anirudh Ravichander, while the aesthetic visuals are the result of G. K. Vishnu's skilled cinematography, and the sharp editing is the brainchild of Ruben.
Originally, Jawan was all set to hit the silver screens on 2 June 2023, but some unfinished post-production work pushed the schedule. Now, marking the auspicious occasion of Janmashtami, Jawan is all geared up for its grand theatrical release on 7 September 2023, available in standard, IMAX, 4DX, and other premium formats.
