Plot

The plot of the movie Tubelight revolves around the life of Laxman Singh Bisht, a simple-minded man living in a small town in India during the 1962 Indo-China war. Laxman, portrayed by Salman Khan, is affectionately known as Tubelight due to his slow-witted nature.

Laxman's world revolves around his younger brother, Bharat, played by Sohail Khan. The two share a strong bond, and Laxman looks up to Bharat for guidance and support. When Bharat volunteers to join the Indian Army and fight in the war, Laxman is left behind, devastated and alone.

As the war progresses, news arrives that Bharat is missing in action, presumed dead. Laxman, however, refuses to believe this and clings to the hope that his brother is alive. Despite the scepticism and ridicule of the townspeople, Laxman's unwavering faith and optimism propel him on a quest to find his missing brother and bring him back home.

During his journey, Laxman encounters various challenges and obstacles, testing his determination and resilience. He forms an unlikely friendship with a young boy named Guo, played by Matin Rey Tangu, who helps Laxman in his search for Bharat.
