The film was shot in Abu Dhabi, Austria, Greece, and Morocco. The film's final song was shot in October 2017 on the Aegean island of Naxos in Greece. Iranian actor Sajjad Delafrooz was cast as Abu Usman, the leader of the terrorist organisation ISC. Sajjad Delafrooz previously appeared in the 2015 Hindi film Baby. In association with the Abu Dhabi Film Commission and twofour54, a 20,000 square metre backlot has been built in the city specifically for the film. Arkan closed their cement facility in Al Ain in March, making it the ideal location for the Tiger Zinda Hai production crew to film its industrial scenes without interruptions. Prior to the Abu Dhabi shoot, the crew was in Austria filming on the snow-capped mountains.
Tiger Zinda Hai set a new non-holiday box office record in India with 34.1 crore nett on its first day. On the second day, it collected 35.30 crore nett gross. With a nett of 45.53 crore, the film had the second biggest day of all time (after the third day of Bahubali 2: The Conclusion's Hindi-dub) and the highest ever for the Hindi cinema industry on its third day.Tiger Zinda Hai has the second largest opening weekend of all time (after Bahubali 2: The Conclusion) and the highest opening weekend of all time in the Hindi cinema business, with over 1.14 billion in three-day nett revenues. Tiger Zinda Hai grossed Rs 154 crore in India in its first four days.
