Introduction 

Raghava Lawrence makes his Hindi film debut with "Laxmii," a 2020 Indian Hindi-language horror comedy film. It is a remake of his 2011 Tamil film "Kanchana." "Asif Ahmed, a sceptic of ghosts, pays a visit to his in-laws with his wife Rashmi. Strange events begin when Asif discovers a buried body on the haunted grounds nearby. After experiencing paranormal activity, Asifs family seeks help from a priest, unaware of the supernatural presence. In an unexpected turn of events, Asif becomes possessed by the vengeful spirit of Laxmii, a transgender woman seeking vengeance for her brutal murder. With Laxmii in command, Asif sets out on a mission to avenge her death, confronting the perpetrators and seeking vengeance.
