OMG 2 is an upcoming Indian Hindi-language satirical comedy-drama film written and directed by Amit Rai. The film is a sequel to the 2012 hit film OMG - Oh My God! OMG 2 will feature Akshay Kumar, Pankaj Tripathi, Arun Govil, Yami Gautam, and Govind Namdev.

Basically, the theme of the movie is based on the Indian educational system. Akshay announced the sequel with the first look posters on January 23, 2021. The first poster depicts Akshay in Lord Shiva's avatar, while the second depicts a blue hand holding the young boy's hand. The film was rumored to be in the works in January 2021, with Akshay Kumar and Paresh Rawal reprising their roles from the first instalment, but Rawal denied the reports. The sequel to OMG was finally confirmed in June 2021, with a new storyline starring Kumar. That same month, Pankaj Tripathi and Yami Gautam were cast as new additions, while Arun Govil joined the cast as Lord Rama in November 2021. 

Tripathi began filming the film's first schedule on September 2, 2021, in Mumbai. On October 23, 2021, Akshay Kumar arrived on set for the second schedule.
