Since both of Sameer Malhotra's parents passed away when he was a little child, he has trouble controlling his wrath. His best buddy Arun was the only person who could control his rage, but he moved away for 19 years. Because of his fury, Roma breaks up with him after he beats up some thugs who try to attack her. Sameer has bad luck with women, according to his horoscope. He works as a lifeguard in Goa to avoid more problems of a similar nature.
Suraj Prakash, another passenger on the train, makes Sameer believe he is a burglar by asking him where he puts valuables (like money) in his bags. Suraj falls asleep after tricking Sameer into watching over his luggage while Sameer remains awake the entire night to avoid being robbed. The following morning at the station, Suraj confesses to Sameer. Suraj is assigned to night watch duty for three months after Sameer learns that he works as a security guard at his resort. Suraj's marriage is strained as a result, and despite his sincere apologies, Sameer is resolute.
When Sameer meets Rani, a young fashion designer, he immediately falls in love. Rani and Sameer become friends after a rocky beginning with her father Jugraj Singh, a former colonel. Because of Sameer's bad luck, he disagrees with Singh, and when Rani overhears him criticizing her to Pandit Raj Purohit Jyotishi, she becomes upset with him.
Sunny, the person with whom Sameer shares a room, causes trouble. He meets Rani, falls in love with her, and makes the decision to profit from Sameer's errors. The roommates argue because of this. As a "well-wisher," Sameer offers Rani the money she needs for a fashion competition. Rani wants to personally thank her "well-wisher" after winning the tournament. Sameer, who handed Rani the cash he had set aside for her wedding and his grandmother's eye treatment, goes to meet her, but Sunny arrives first, poses as the well-wisher, and snatches her away. On his motorcycle, Sameer follows and unintentionally hurts Singh. Sunny kidnaps Rani's dog Tommy and frames Sameer for creating a portrait of Rani. Sameer purchases a canine replica and informs Singh that he has located Tommy. When the dog bites Singh after receiving a cold wash and flees, he is made vulnerable.
At a New Year's Eve celebration, Sameer reconciles with Rani despite his anger thanks to a magician. One morning, Sunny puts a bar dancer in Sameer's room; Rani, who went there to invite him to breakfast, notices the dancer sleeping there and believes they had sex. She is also appalled that Sameer is now in charge of the Eagle Gang, a group of motorcycle riders who cause mischief on the streets of Goa.
Sameer tries to apologize once more. Suraj, Rani's uncle, who now knows that he loves her, surprises him when he arrives at Rani's home. After apologising, Sameer relieves Suraj of his night shift. Pushpa, the grandmother of Sameer who is partially blind, confuses Rani's mother for Rani and tries to convince her to wed Sameer. Rani's mother advises her daughter to carefully examine whether Sameer or Sunny is the one she loves more.
When Sameer decides to leave Goa, Sunny teases him, saying that it was because of Sameer's errors that he had become friendly with Rani. Sameer declares that he has had enough of dreaming and sends his best wishes to Sunny's way. Sameer becomes angry when Sunny taunts him once more. At a cricket stadium where India and Pakistan are playing a friendly game, he pursues Sunny through the spectators. Bypassing security, Sameer apologizes to Rani and her parents while taking the podium away from the honoree, Kapil Dev. Rani rushes onto the field to embrace him as he proposes to her in front of the crowd, reuniting them.
When Sunny comes, he confesses that he is Sameer's boyhood friend Arun, who traveled to Goa to help Sameer with his problems with restraint. Furthermore, he asserts that Pushpa informed him about Sameer's sorrow and departure for Goa when they crossed paths while he was paying a visit to Sameer after spending 19 years in the US. Arun made the decision to assist Sameer by posing as Sameer's adversary and informing Rani and her parents beforehand. Arun officiates Sameer and Rani's wedding after they reunite.
"Mujhse Shaadi Karogi" is a 2004 Bollywood romantic comedy film directed by David Dhawan, starring Salman Khan, Akshay Kumar, and Priyanka Chopra in lead roles. The film is a quintessential Bollywood entertainer known for its humor, catchy music, and energetic performances.
The story revolves around two roommates, Sameer (Salman Khan) and Sunny (Akshay Kumar), who both fall in love with their beautiful neighbor, Rani (Priyanka Chopra). This forms the basis of a humorous love triangle. Sameer and Sunny, both head over heels for Rani, engage in comical competition to win her affection, leading to a series of hilarious situations.
Salman Khan delivers a charming performance as Sameer, displaying his signature charisma and comic timing. Akshay Kumar steals the show with his impeccable comic skills and impeccable timing as the lovable yet eccentric Sunny. However, "Mujhse Shaadi Karogi" does have its share of clichés and over-the-top moments, which may not appeal to everyone. The story follows a predictable trajectory, but the performances and humor compensate for its shortcomings.
In conclusion, "Mujhse Shaadi Karogi" is an entertaining Bollywood comedy that offers a delightful mix of humor, romance, and catchy songs. Salman Khan and Akshay Kumar's chemistry, coupled with Priyanka Chopra's elegance, make it an enjoyable watch for fans of lighthearted, masala Bollywood films.
