Maya Menon is an accomplished, wealthy, truth-telling, powerful, and morally upright TV journalist. She enjoys superstar status that rivals, peers, and juniors alike covet and hosts a popular TV program aptly titled "Face The Truth." She resides with her mother and her cerebral palsy-suffering son Ayush in her personal life. She and her employer have a feisty romantic relationship. Maya maintains cordial relations with her ex-husband, who is currently enjoying a happy marriage to his current Russian bride and the couple's son. All in all, Maya's life appears to be ideal up until the tragic night when she drives late home from work and passes out behind the wheel of her car. Unexpectedly, a young girl walks out in front of her car, and she unintentionally smashes her. After the collision, she stops and notices another bystander leaving the scene. Startled, she runs away from the accident scene without realizing it was all caught on a nearby CCTV camera.

Vidya Balan is Maya Menon's journalist one night who gets late with an interview with a successful businessman so much of late she drives alone through the radio and music she gets a girl accident by her mistakenly and that girl is Maya's maid ruksana (Shefali Shah) daughter if you want to know what will happen next then go watch this movie it won't bore you with a surprising and strong performance by both Vidya Balan and Shefali Shah and performance by every supporting cast was also brilliant and authentic such a disturbing scene done by both lead actress was really difficult but they done it so brilliantly took away and blown my mind cameo by manav kaul was brilliant whenever he comes makes me smile, and the screenplay was a really slow burn, and perfectly didn't give me a chance to pause there were some disturbing scenes which weren't necessary but blown my mind especially ending scene was hooked and goosebumps and shocking. Its reality and suspense both you will get.’
