Plot

The film Double Seat depicts the challenges faced by a newlywed couple as they attempt to sell their childhood home and purchase an apartment of their own. Amit's outlook on life was instilled in him by his father, a horse trainer, and he now works in the packing industry. Amit was born and reared in the metropolitan area of Mumbai. Manjiri, Amit's wife, is a native of the village of Roha and possesses an extraordinary zeal for life. Despite the challenges of acclimating to life in the city, she is excited about working as a LIC agent.

On August 14, 2015, the film was released in the states of Maharashtra, Karnataka, Goa, Gujarat, and Madhya Pradesh, as well as in Delhi. There were 3,000 showings per day of the film with English subtitles. Essel Vision was in charge of distribution for the movie. On November 8, 2015, Zed Marathi broadcast the international television premiere of the film; in preparation for this event, the actors participated in a special promotional shoot.
