Dil Dhadakne Do is a story about a wealthy Punjabi family, the Mehras, who are facing a variety of issues in their lives. He falls in love with Farah, a dancer who encourages him to follow his passion. 

Their daughter, Ayesha, is a successful entrepreneur who is married to a man who doesn't appreciate her. She is also struggling to deal with her parents' expectations and the societal pressure to have a child. To escape their problems, the Mehras go on a luxury cruise vacation, where they meet a variety of interesting characters and confront their own issues. Through their interactions with each other and the other passengers on the ship, they learn important lessons about family, love, and following their hearts.

As the trip progresses, Kabir and Ayesha both face challenges that force them to confront their fears and make important decisions about their lives.
