The mass entertainer starred south superstar Prabhas in the lead character and was released on September 30, 2005, marking a watershed moment in Prabhas career. Almost two decades later, the blockbuster film has been remade in Hindi, featuring bollywood actress Nushrratt Bharuccha and telugu actor Bellamkonda Sai Sreenivas. Vivi Vinayak, a well-known Telugu filmmaker, is in charge of the remake.

Plot 

Chatrapathi is an upcoming high-voltage mass-action entertainer Hindi film featuring Bellamkonda Sai Sreenivas and Nushratt Bharuccha. V.V Vinayak, a Tollywood mass director, produced and adapted the film.

Chatrapathi's Hindi remake will follow the same plot as the original Tamil film, which starred Prabhas in the lead part. The original film's plot revolved around a mother and her two boys from a Sri Lankan community. The entire community was forced to flee the village one day, and the lady was separated from her adopted son during this time. The plot centers around that child and his development as he overcomes obstacles, meets his family, and becomes a savior for his community.

Release

Chatrapati Hindi remake is one of the most awaited Bollywood films of 2023. The film, starring Bellamkonda Sai Sreenivas and Nushrratt Bharuccha, will be presented in theatres on May 12, 2023. The film's producers revealed information about the film's release in a teaser that was shown in theatres during the release of the Dussehra film.
