Story

Play

As part of a development initiative to build roads in the area, Bhaskar and his cousin Janardhan travel to a small town in Arunachal Pradesh. Two locals, Jomin and Panda, who they get to know, show them around. Bhaskar is bitten by a wolf while pursued one night in the woods. Dr. Anika, the nearby veterinarian, is taken to right away by Jana and Jomin. After observing the significant bite mark on his rear end, she administers an injection to Bhaskar in the hopes that it may lessen his agony. The following day, Bhaskar begins to go through internal alterations. In addition to speaking with animals, he has enhanced hearing and smell. Locals and tribal groups, meanwhile, are opposed to the idea of removing trees from forests to build highways and would not support it. However, Bhaskar can secure the backing of the youth, who approve of the initiative. Soon after, the bodies of two individuals who worked on the project are discovered. They may have been murdered by an animal that attacked and scratched them, according to the bite and scratch marks on their bodies. Nobody believes Panda when he claims that a shape-shifting werewolf is responsible for the killings. What happens next is fantastic twists and turns.

The horror-comedy Bhediya was released on 25 November 2022.  It received a positive response from the audience as well as the critics.

Reviews

While Bollywood was delivering the same kind of content and usual plots for a while, Bhediya entered with a unique concept and expectations. The movie received positive responses from both the audience and critics. It met the expectations and the hype it created. The movie has an engaging plot; the songs are beautiful, original. The acting is terrific, and overall the movie is a complete pack of entertainment.
