This drama, which is based on actual events but embellished with artistic licence, emphasises the need to remove Article 370, which gave Jammu & Kashmir special status. The movie makes the claim that it was appropriate for the current administration to withdraw the article. The filmmakers place a great emphasis on portraying the suffering of Kashmiri citizens as the result of corrupt local leaders and militants working together. The plot is expertly set up in the first half, which is tense. The climax, which tends towards overly dramatic cinematic techniques rather than realism, is where the intensity somewhat declines.

The plot of the movie centres on Zooni Haksar (Yami Gautam Dhar), an intelligence field officer who, in the opinion of his superior, had a "botched" encounter that resulted in her relocation to Delhi. A large portion of the groundwork is carried out by PMO Secretary Rajeshwari Swaminathan (Priyamani) as the government works to repeal Article 370. She puts her team together and gives Zooni the task of leading the NIA operation in Kashmir. Via militants and dishonest local leaders, the valley's quest to maintain peace and unity must pass through many challenges.

While the public reacted favourably to the film, critics had mixed things to say about it. Everyone has given the actors' performances a lot of praise, and the compelling plot keeps the audience interested. • Yami Gautam Dhar - Yami Gautam Dhar is an Indian actress best known for her performances in Hindi films.  She started her career as a model and starred in television soap operas like Chand Ke Paar Chalo and Yeh Pyar Na Hoga Kam. She is the daughter of Punjabi film director Mukesh Gautam. Her first Hindi film, Vicky Donor, a comedy-drama, was released in 2012. Vicky Donor won her the Zee Cine Award for Best Female Debut. Gautam had supporting roles in the thrillers Badlapur and Kaabil.  Better success came from starring in the war films Uri: The Surgical Strike and the satire Bala. Since then, she has acted in the streaming films Chor Nikal Ke Bhaga, Dasvi, A Thursday, Bhoot Police, and OMG 2.

• Priyamani Raj - Priya Vasudevan Mani Iyer, known by her stage name Priyamani, is an Indian actress. She primarily works on films in the languages of Telugu, Kannada, Tamil, Hindi, and Malayalam. In 2003, Priyamani starred in her first Telugu film, Evare Atagaadu. Her portrayal of a rural girl in the 2007 Tamil romantic drama Paruthiveeran won her both a Filmfare Award for Best Actress in Tamil and a National Film Award for Best Actress. She also became well-known for the role. Raam, Raavan, Raavanan, Pranchiyettan & the Saint, Chaarulatha, and Idolle Ramayana are some of her other well-known works.
