Abhijeet said, When I knew that there is so much Complexity in the character and the plot, I needed an actor who can convey all the varied shades of the same person! I went to Subodh initially. Kanchantai Ghanekar's second wife was Vaidehi Parashurami.Sonali Kulkarni considered for Sulochana Latkar.Next were supporting actors Amruta Khanvilkar and Prajakta Mali. Amruta played Sandhya Shantaram and Prajakta played Asha Kale.
