Aga Bai Arecha is the title of Kedar Shinde's Marathi film which is a comedic drama that is largely based on the Hollywood film What Women Want. It was first made available in 2004. The film focuses on the day-to-day existence and the challenges faced by an average person when residing in a large city such as Mumbai. His most important goal in life is to discover the answer to the question, What do women want?
After receiving the blessing of the Kuldevi, or Clan Goddess, of his community, he is endowed with an exceptional ear for the inner monologues of the ladies in his immediate vicinity. It shows how he went from being a frustrated person to someone who is now happy, content, and in charge of his own life. The movie also had a sequel that was released under the name Aga Bai Arechyaa 2, however it did not do well in the box office.
The soundtrack, particularly the songs from the film, has gained significant popularity. In 2010, a Kannada version of the movie titled Vaare Vah was remade and starred by Komal.

Shriranga Deshmukh (or Ranga) is a frustrated guy. His anger is directed primarily at the ladies in his life, specifically his wife, his mother, and especially his boss, who is notoriously short-fused. He has the impression that they are running his life. Ranga takes part in the annual celebration that is held in his birthplace when he is there visiting. During this journey, he comes to the realisation that he now possesses the capacity to hear what is going through the minds of women.
In the beginning, he is perplexed. But very quickly, via the guidance of a female psychotherapist, he comes to see his gifts not as a liability but rather as a blessing in disguise. After that moment, he has a better understanding of the women around him as a result of his insight into the feminine mind. It enlightens him to their anguish and the challenges they face on a daily basis as a result of life.
Because he is basically a nice person, he gradually begins to apply this newfound knowledge in order to strengthen his relationships with his wife, mother, grandmother, employer, and even his own father. In addition to this, he is able to provide solutions to some of their difficulties, which in turn makes them happier than they were before.
