Smriti Irani had posted a selfie of her daughter over her Instagram Account. The next day her daughter was mocked and bullied by one of her classmates and Zoish asked her mother to delete her selfie. Smriti Irani said that her daughter’s classmate mocked her for her looks and told her friends in class to humiliate her for how she looks in her mother's Instagram post.

Ms. Irani shared a picture of herself and explained why she was reposting it after taking it down just a day earlier. She went on to claim that her daughter had begged her to delete the post which she did. I obeyed because I could not bear to see her cry she wrote adding that she later realised that by deleting the message she had actually strengthened the bully.

Silly souls Goa Cafe and Bar

The Bharatiya Janata Party politician Smriti Irani's husband and kids operate Eightall Food and Beverages Limited Liability Partnership (LLP) the business that controls the contentious Goa restaurant and Bar Silly Souls which is housed in a private residence in Assagao.

According to information obtained through a right-to-information request Dean D'Gama who is Anthony D'Gama's legal representative and the business entered into a lease agreement prior to the State Directorate of Food and Drugs Administration issuing a food licence.

Irani had previously refuted any claims that she and her daughter were connected to the Silly Souls Cafe and Bar in House 452 Bouta Waddo Assagao Goa.
According to documents provided in response to an RTI Dean D'Gama Anthony D'Gama's legal counsel and Eightball Food and Beverages signed a leasing agreement on January 1 2021 for a ten-year term at a monthly rent of Rs. 50 000.

Seventy-five per cent of Eightball Food and Beverages Limited Liability Partnership is owned by Smriti Irani's husband and family.

After it was discovered that the owners of the supposedly run by Irani's daughter Zoish Irani Silly Souls Cafe and Bar renewed the restaurant's liquor licence using the identity of a deceased individual the establishment became the subject of controversy.

After receiving a complaint from attorney Aires Rodrigues who claimed that the proprietors had provided "fraudulent and forged documents" to obtain the licence Narayan M. Gad the excise commissioner of Goa issued a show-cause notice to the restaurant on July 21.
