An Indian actress and model by the name of Zareen Khan (sometimes spelt as Zarine Khan). She primarily works in the Hindi cinema industry though she has also made appearances in Tamil Telugu and Punjabi movies.

Khan made her Bollywood debut in the epic action movie Veer in 2010 as a princess. She then starred in the wildly successful item number Character Dheela in the 2011 blockbuster comedy Ready. She made her breakthrough in the romantic comedy Housefull 2 which has been her most successful film to date playing a stylish model. She made her Tamil film debut the next year with the item number Malgove in Naan Rajavaga Pogiren. She returned to Bollywood in 2015 acting in the 2014 Punjabi flick Jatt James Bond.

She returned to Bollywood in 2015 and played the lead in the sensual thriller Hate Story 3 after starring in the 2014 Punjabi film Jatt James Bond. Khan made his Telugu film debut in 2019 with the action thriller Chanakya.

The film which also includes Nassar Rajesh Khattar Upen Patel Sunil Jayaprakash Raja Chembolu and Adarsh Balakrishna in supporting roles stars Gopichand Zareen Khan and Mehreen Pirzada in the lead characters. It also marks Thiru's and Khan's Telugu filmmaking debuts. 

Sricharan Pakala and Vishal Chandrasekhar wrote the movie's music. 

The movie centres on an undercover agent named Arjun who must act quickly to save his companions after a Pakistani terrorist named Sohail kidnaps them. After having his cover blown by his own agency he embarks on the rescue operation in Karachi with the assistance of another RAW agent named Zubeida. Chanakya was presented in theatres on October 5 2019.

The 2012 Indian Hindi action comedy movie Housefull 2 based on a story by Sajid Nadiadwala was co-written by brothers Sajid and Farhad Samji under the name Sajid-Farhad. It is the second part of the Housefull franchise a stand-alone sequel to Housefull (2010) produced by Nadiadwala under Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment and is released by Eros International. It is also an uncredited adaptation of the 1998 Malayalam film Mattupetti Machan.

There have been stories of Zareen being harassed by a crowd while promoting Aksar 2 because the movie's creators neglected to provide for her security. Two days prior to departure Zareen Khan and her crew gave their approval to the whole tour schedule. With the exception of the press conference and a sponsor visit she cancelled all of her commitments. 

She did not even finish a day of promotions which caused the producers such much trouble that they were forced to make a significant financial settlement and endured harassment and threats. The part about her nearly being groped is completely wrong; she stormed out of the venue screaming at the sponsors because she didn't want to stay or eat there.
