Indian singer songwriter and music composer Vishal Dadlani was born on June 28 1973. As the Front Man and vocalist of Pentagram one of India's top rock bands he is one half of the pair Vishal-Shekhar.

His work in Bollywood films where he has written and sung many successful songs is what has made him most famous. Vishal is not only a successful musician but also a prominent social and political pundit.

He has advocated strongly for causes like the environment corruption and free speech. He has been asked to speak at numerous gatherings and conferences because of his popularity as a public speaker.

He attended Jai Hind College the University of Mumbai for two years after completing his education at South Bombay's Hill Grange High School and then continued on to complete his graduation at HSNC University's H.R. Career

Dadlani's musical career began in 1994 with the electronica/indie-rock band Pentagram which he fronted and was located in Bombay. One of the founding members of Indian independent music Pentagram has achieved notoriety. Dadlani achieved success as a Bollywood song composer performer and lyricist while still actively involved in the band thanks to films like Jhankaar Beats Bluff Master and Salaam Namaste.

He has performed numerous hit songs in a variety of genres including Khuda Hafiz Dhoom Again Kurban Hua Jee le Zara Marjaiyann I feel good Jab Mila Tu Tu Meri Swag Se Swagat Bala Har funn Maula and Swag Se Swagat. He said in an interview that he can sing in every genre from rock to romantic because his voice texture is exclusive to that genre. Dadlani and a few of his family members' identities appeared in the wake of the Panama Paper revelations as a result of investments they made through his company Sunny Blessing Holding Inc. in the British Virgin Islands. The enforcement directorate is now looking into a few of these transactions. 

When Dadlani criticized the Jain monk Muni Tarun Sagar ji in a tweet in 2016 there were a lot of backlashes. Though the monk is believed to have not taken the matter seriously he was accused of hurting religious emotions and multiple First information reports were filed against him. Dadlani then admitted in an open letter that the tweets were his biggest error. The Punjab and Haryana High Court punished him for the tweet.
