In a slow-burn narrative style Shashant Shah's 'Operation Romeo ' an official remake of the 2019 Malayalam blockbuster 'Ishq: Not A Love Story ' explored themes including consent misogyny machismo and women with agency. The story follows a young couple who are assaulted and tormented by a pair of men who catch them in their private space inside their car.

While the film was released in India in April it drew attention when it was distributed on Netflix a few months later. In the film, she portrays a young lady who decides to leave her lover who displayed sexist and misogynist behaviour in the most passive-aggressive way.

Gumraah

Gumraah is an action thriller film that was released in theatres on 7 April 2023. Directed by Vardhan Ketkar, the movie is a remake of the 2019 Tamil film, Thadam. The film features a star-studded cast which includes Aditya Roy Kapur in a dual role, Mrunal Thakur, and Ronit Roy alongside Vedika Pinto.

The movie's plot revolves around a murder investigation which becomes complicated after the police discover two suspects who look incredibly similar. Vedika Pinto portrays the character Janhvi Behl. Janhvi is the love of Arjun, one of the main characters played by Aditya Roy Kapur.
