Later she returned as Kaali. She made her acting debut in the Tollywood film Andhra Pori in which she plays Prashanti the protagonist. The Telugu movie Rudhramadevi from 2015 included Gupta as well.

Ek Veer Stree Ki Kahaani... Jhansi Ki Rani is an Indian historical drama based on the life of Lakshmi Bai the Rani of Jhansi. 
Jitendra Srivastava directed the show and Rajesh Saksham Ila Dutta Bedi Malavika Asthana and Mairaj Zaidi wrote the scripts. Ulka Gupta played the youthful Queen Lakshmi Bai in the 18 August 2009 Zee TV debut.

An Indian television drama series in the Hindi language called Banni Chow Home Delivery debuted on StarPlus on May 30 2022. Disney+ Hotstar offers digital streaming of it. Ulka Gupta and Pravisht Mishra star in the Shashi Sumeet Productions film which is produced by Shashi Mittal and Sumeet Mittal. It is a remake of the Bengali television show Khukumoni Home Delivery from Star Jalsha.

Ulka Gupta who recently had her role in Khelti Hai Zindagi replaced Aankh Micholi has claimed that the producers have been mentally tormenting her because of her supposed lack of professionalism. In the television program the 17-year-old actress played Ami a 13-year-old.

Gagan Ulka's father asserts that the actress hasn't received payment. Since no workshops were held Ulka was accused of failing to fulfill her duty. Her attire was subpar and she had been purposely made to look lighter using makeup. They haven't even told us about the replacement and we haven't received a single cent until now he claims.

Producer Nittin Keni claims that despite Gagan's repeated threats to end the show we complied with his request because of research and health concerns. We didn't want the kid's health or academics to suffer. He demanded a hike the day before the shoot was set to start but we declined. In this situation getting a replacement was preferable.
